The First Time

She hadn’t wanted much from him. A little dinner now and again, a little companionship. She wasn’t looking for love, she never expected anything. Just someone to explore the city with, someone to be a little in awe of and a little drunk with from time to time….

Her phone burst into life, vibrating it’s way across the table top, shocking her out of her reverie and back down to reality with a bump. She knew it was him, summoning her, again. Something of the rebel was in her mind today. She felt tired, bored of him and the whole charade. Still, it was easy enough and she didn’t have much planned for that afternoon. Sighing, she picked up the phone and looked at his message. He wanted to meet her at the flat in Angel, 7pm. Wear the sailor dress, the message read.
